"Friendly Fire" - now October 3, 2006

So, turns out Sean Lennon's new album, Friendly Fire, is delayed till October 3. The delay is because they need more time to package the DVD which will now come with the CD.

The DVD contains a music video for all 10 songs on the album, which should be fun. This is what the trailer was put together from. 2 versions of a music video from Dead Meat have already been released. I know more were leaked a few months ago, but I don't know which ones were those.

Tomorrow, Sept 26, Sean Lennon will be on Letterman.

Summer's gone
and those songbirds are singing
cause you're gone
gone from my arms
gone from my lips
but you're still in my heart

What to do?
oh I'm left here just crying over you
oh I'm so blue
what can I do?
now that you're gone

The days they prolong
now that you're gone
my nights, they leave me blue
(oh so blue)
I don't know why there are tears in my eyes
can it be that I'm still in love with you?

Summer's gone
and those songbirds are singing
because, oh you're gone
gone from my arms (gone my arms)
gone from my lips (gone my lips)
but still in my heart (still in my heart, still in my heart)

Summer's gone
And those songbirds are singing
because, oh you're gone
gone from my arms
gone from my lips
but still in my heart (summer's gone, but you're still in my heart)

your favorite dress

You're always such a spectacle
guess it was the best you could do
your favorite dress for the world to see through
spilled your drink but you didn't mean to

you're always such a spectacle
said you would but you never will change
you'll only do it if I do the same
love is such a dangerous game
a dangerous game

when you told me this
that wickedness is a myth
that was invented for losers
cause baby the truth hurts
baby the truth hurts
